The Federal Minister of Textiles Rana M Farooq Saeed Khan reiterated his government’s commitment towards the textile industry by saying that it was committed to developing a strong infrastructure for the sector at large.

He mentioned this while addressing a meeting of senior officials from the textile ministry. He said the sector was the mainstay of the economy and the government was aware of the importance of the sector to the economy.

He concluded by saying that, the sector is sharing its due part in providing jobs to the millions of people and that use of modern technology in textile sector has become most essential to face challenges of global market.
